Head of Finance and Controlling

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in finance and accounting, able to coordinate the economic team and contribute actively to the company's strategy and development.

• Coordinating and supervising financial and accounting activities in accordance with current legislation; leading the Financial/Accounting and Administration teams;

• Preparing and verifying financial statements, reports, and tax declarations;

• Analyzing and reporting economic and financial results to management and shareholders;

• Person of contact for all financial and accounting aspects towards the central office in Switzerland;

• Coordinating income and expense budgets and monitoring compliance with these;

• Periodic analysis of economic performance and proposing optimization measures;

• Implementing and monitoring internal control procedures and audits;

• Ensuring legislative compliance in all economic and financial operations;

• Coordinating human resources, personnel, health, and safety at the workplace, as well as implementing and respecting environmental policies;

• Representing the company in relations with tax authorities, auditors, and state institutions;

Candidates must have:

• Higher education in economics (accounting, finance, economy), additional certifications (e.g., CECCAR) being an advantage;

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in management positions;

• Solid knowledge of financial, accounting, and tax legislation;

• Leadership, planning, and organizational skills;

• Analytical and critical thinking skills;

• Orientation towards results and ability to manage complex situations;

• Experience in using Microsoft D365 (ERP system); if you don't have experience yet, be willing and eager to learn (in-depth) about D365 (relevant for finance and accounting tasks)

• Knowledge of English/German languages;
