Head of Engineering Turbinentechnologie (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced, open and inspiring personality to lead our Technical Office.

In this responsible key position, you combine constructive excellence with organizational clarity and actively shape the further development of our engineering department. You report directly to the Board and make a central contribution to the sustainable and future-oriented orientation of our company.

Aufgaben

You take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of our construction team and bear overall responsibility for the mechanical design and construction of our systems. In doing so, you ensure that projects are implemented qualitatively high-quality, economically and timely.

In addition to operational project management, you analyze existing process structures, identify optimization potential and develop the construction office structurally further. You create clear standards, promote efficient workflows and actively support your team in challenging technical questions.

As a central interface between research and development, procurement and production, you ensure a smooth information flow and stable processes along the entire value chain. In technical discussions with customers and partners, you represent your field of expertise sovereignly and solution-oriented.

Qualifikation

You have completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a constructive focus and bring several years of experience in special machinery or technically demanding plant construction.

You possess fundamental knowledge of the design of complex assemblies, ideally in the context of rotating systems. The safe handling of 2D and 3D CAD systems, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor, is self-evident for you. Similarly, you have experience working with PDM systems like Vault and ERP systems like ABAS.

Revision safety, process-oriented work and production-ready design are your standard. You combine technical depth with economic thinking and make informed decisions based on quality, efficiency and sustainability.

As a leadership personality, you bring experience from the engineering environment. You recognize potential, develop employees specifically further and create a trusting, motivating working atmosphere. Openness, communication strength and clear decision-making ability distinguish you.
