Our Opportunity

Predium has built the leading ESG intelligence platform for institutional real estate companies in the DACH region over the last three years - with the biggest names in the industry as clients: asset managers, housing associations, banks. Our customer base, the data, our credibility are valuable assets for the next step. Investment, credit, and asset management decisions in the real estate industry are still made in Excel, case by case. We are now building the AI analyst to take over this work. Directly on the customer's data, scalable without additional heads. We are well-funded and bringing AI to the real estate industry.

Your Mission

As Head of Engineering, you will take leadership of our currently approximately 10-person engineering team and expand it further. You will push your team to deliver ambitiously: continuous improvements for our existing customers, but also new prototypes and innovations that expand our business model. At the same time, you will ensure exchange and collaboration within the team, so that everyone gets a bit better every day.

You are a strong sparring partner and think in systems: Together with our C-level, the product and data teams, and our customers, you will further develop our product strategy and find technically viable, smart solutions. With us, the best idea wins - no matter who it comes from. With 40 people, there is simply no room for politics.

Technically, you will build our architecture so that it scales with us and leaves room for innovation - for example, in the integration of AI components and data pipelines. You have a free hand here: try new things, further develop the tech stack, and also plan capacity for technical foundation and tech debt.

This is how you also help our sales and customer success teams to win new customers - and in doing so, build your own user and fan base. And: every line of code contributes to improving the carbon footprint of real estate.

• You have successfully developed and launched agentic features that expand our platform with a 360° view of the property.
• You have made the team ship faster - by supporting them, strengthening their can-do mentality, and critically questioning what we are building in the first place.
• You have expanded the team with great, local talent.
• You know what drives each person on your team - and have helped them take their performance to the next level.

What You Bring

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering leadership and architecture, with a track record of scaling engineering teams while maintaining high shipping speed - ideally in a non-corporate, fast-paced environment.
• You love to grow teams, support them in their development, and set ambitious goals for them at the same time.
• You have solid experience with the mentioned frontend and backend technologies as well as modern tech stacks - not by coding everything yourself, but by enabling your team.
• You think in systems and consistently solve problems from a first-principles perspective.
• You speak German at a native or C1 level and fluent English.
