Head of Digital Marketing (m/w/d)

The Machineseeker Group operates the online marketplaces Maschinensucher, Machineseeker, TruckScout24, and Werktuigen, which are the leading platforms for used machines in Europe. More than 12,000 sellers currently list over 300,000 machines on the platforms. Over 15 million monthly visitors generate a yearly transaction volume of more than 120 billion euros. Since 1999, the company has been growing profitably and continuously strengthening its team.

We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing (m/w/d) in full-time or part-time at our location in Essen.

Tasks

• You plan, create, and manage SEA-, Display-, and Paid Social campaigns in more than 20 languages (Google Ads, Criteo, Microsoft Ads, Facebook etc.)
• You are responsible for further online marketing channels
• You develop our tracking further (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics)
• You conduct regular reports and performance controls and develop these further (Google Analytics, Redash, Excel)
• You take over as team leader the further development of the Performance Marketing Team
• You work closely with our Co-CEO Sven Schmidt (known from the podcasts of OMR and Deutsche Startups) together

Qualification

• You have a very good completed degree in economics or equivalent.
• You can demonstrate at least 1-2 years of practical experience in online/Performance Marketing or consulting.
• You bring very good technical-analytical skills and a very high affinity for numbers.
• You have a proactive mindset and a quick understanding ability.
• You have fluent German and English language skills.
