Hire Resolve's client is searching for a talented and experienced Head of Development to lead their growing development team. As Head of Development, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of their products, from ideation and concept to development, testing, and deployment. You will be a key member of the leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping the future of their technology products. Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for the development team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy. Oversee the development of new products and features, as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing products. Manage the development budget and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Recruit, mentor, and coach development team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to the company's technology stack. Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Identify and mitigate technical risks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing software development teams. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
