Description:
RPO Recruitment's client, is a leading poultry production company in the North West region, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Department for Poultry Production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of poultry production operations in the North West region
- Develop and implement production strategies to meet company goals and objectives
- Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Monitor production schedules and make adjustments as needed to meet production targets
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and ensure efficient operations
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, agriculture, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in poultry production management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with budgeting and cost control
