Head of Data / Tech / E-COM (m/f/d)

Marketing, product, finance, and supply chain data currently live in separate systems. At the same time, many of our best AI ideas remain in the pilot phase. This is exactly where you come in: You will lay our technical and data foundation and establish AI-first processes in daily business – hands-on, independently, and without a large development team behind you.

• One truth for all teams: You will consolidate marketing, product, finance, and supply chain data into a unified cloud data platform. Goal: Specialist teams will manage their most important KPIs fully automated – moving away from Excel silos towards self-service BI.

• AI-First Process Automation: You will anchor concrete, productively used AI use cases in our five core areas (Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) – from automated marketing reporting and AI-supported quality assurance to centralized finance reporting. This will noticeably reduce manual effort.

• Interface & Sparring: You will work closely with team leads and management to translate business requirements directly into pragmatic, technical solutions.

• Team Leadership: You will take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of our two-person shop team, prioritize tasks, manage resources, and develop your employees in a targeted manner. We want to increasingly build shop competence in-house – with the goal of becoming more independent from our current agency.

• Relevant practical experience: approx. 4–7 years in the data and e-commerce environment, ideally D2C.

• Data Architecture: Strong expertise in building unified data architectures and self-service BI. You have already brought data sources end-to-end into a platform.

• Tech-enabled Automation: Practically proven AI/process automation that you have independently brought into production.

• Hands-on Mentality: You achieve results without your own development team and enjoy direct implementation.

• Languages & Presence: Fluent German and the willingness to work 3 days/week on-site in Oberhaching/Munich.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Shopify ecosystem (Theme/Liquid, Apps, API integrations) – a clear advantage that will help you build internal shop competence.
