Job description

About Scento

Scento is Europe's largest website for perfume decants. Founded in 2024, the company is headquartered in Paris at Place Vendôme and has a second office in Berlin. Scento offers more than 1,000 original designer and niche fragrances from a portfolio of 200 perfume houses as decants: 2 ml, 5 ml, and 8 ml vials, as well as a 30 ml bottle for most fragrances. Perfume samples of niche and designer scents allow you to discover a fragrance before committing to a full bottle. Each perfume is an original from authorized European retailers, and each bottle undergoes a 12-point incoming inspection in Scento's ISO-certified facility before decanting.

Scento serves customers in 27 European markets and ships to 26 EU countries. Scento's annual revenue in 2026 will exceed 30 million Euros, combining online and offline sales. On Scento.com, monthly sales of decants in September 2026 were 3.2 times higher than in January 2026. According to its own statements, Scento sells over 3 million perfume decants per year, about one every 10 seconds. In November 2025, Scento announced it would invest 25 million Euros in perfume discovery in Europe over three years.

Your Role

Scento sells perfume samples and decants to customers in 27 European markets, and almost every decision relies on numbers: how much marketing budget is worthwhile, which fragrances are running out, which cohorts are returning. As Head of Data & Analytics, you will build the foundation on which these decisions are made.

You will be responsible for Scento's data foundation, from warehouse and pipelines to key figures and dashboards, develop models for attribution, LTV, and margin, and forecast demand together with Operations and Purchasing. Success means: every team works independently with numbers that everyone trusts.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for Scento's warehouse, pipelines, metric definitions, and dashboards.
  • You will build attribution, cohort, LTV, and margin models that steer marketing spend.
  • You will forecast the demand for perfumes and decants together with Operations and Purchasing.
  • You will ensure that every team can retrieve and understand reliable numbers independently.
  • You will measure the true impact of marketing with incrementality tests and clear experiment designs.
  • You will build and lead the Data function with a high standard for quality and speed.

Your Profile

  • At least 8 years in Analytics or Data Science, with at least 3 years leading a Data function in e-commerce or consumer tech.
  • Excellent SQL and statistics; experience with modern data stacks and product analytics.
  • Experience in marketing measurement (incrementality, attribution).
  • Fluent in English.

What We Offer

  • A salary at the top end of the market plus an annual performance bonus.
  • Remote-friendly within the EU, with offices in Paris (Place Vendôme) and Berlin.
  • A personal learning budget of €2,500 per year for courses, conferences, and books.
  • A generous monthly perfume budget to discover the entire catalog.
  • Your choice of equipment and a home office budget.
  • 30 days of paid vacation per year, in addition to public holidays.
  • Real responsibility and fast decision-making in a company that is growing rapidly in Europe.

Salary and Application

Salary: €135,000 to €175,000 gross per year, full-time, permanent, plus an annual performance bonus.

Location: Berlin or Paris, alternatively remote from anywhere in the EU.
