Head of Cybersecurity Trading Platform / Financial Services Technology A high-growth trading platform is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity to lead and evolve its security capability across cloud, network, and operational security. This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, ideal for a technically strong cybersecurity professional who thrives in lean, fast-moving environments. The organisation operates a cloud-first infrastructure built primarily on Microsoft Azure and requires a security leader with experience across: * Cloud Security (Azure) * Network Security * Operational Security Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement the cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures. * Lead and mentor a small but growing team of security professionals. * Oversee security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management. * Manage security technologies and tools, ensuring their effective deployment and use. * Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business. * Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and technologies. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Skills and Experience: * Proven experience in a leadership role within cybersecurity. * Strong technical understanding of cloud security (Azure), network security, and operational security. * Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners. * Experience with incident response and digital forensics. * Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
