Head of Controlling BeNeDACH (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• You take over overall responsibility for management controlling in the BeNeDACH region with a focus on GuV, profitability and working capital.
• You steer budget-, forecast- and planning processes under observance of conglomerate standards and time plans.
• You create precise financial reports according to local and international reporting guidelines and comment on these address-specifically.
• You function as a Business Partner for several business areas and advise management on strategic decisions.
• You monitor the achievement of financial KPIs and initiate suitable measures in case of deviations.
• You ensure data quality in ERP systems and data quality management.
• You prepare monthly business reviews for European management and present relevant analyses.
• You ensure compliance with internal control systems and conglomerate guidelines, and accompany internal audits.
• You guarantee the integrity of main account and inventory data through regular stock reconciliations.
• You support the implementation of conglomerate tools and processes in local organization.

Qualifikation

• You hold a completed degree in business administration or equivalent qualification with a focus on finance or controlling.
• You bring at least eight years of professional experience in the finance or controlling field of an international company, ideally supplemented by first leadership experience.
• You possess fundamental knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, business planning and reporting.
• You have extensive knowledge in accounting as well as risk management.
• You work analytically, structured and independently, and step forward communicatively as a Business Partner.
• You are confident in handling MS Office, particularly Excel, and move routinely in ERP systems.
• You possess ideal experience in the retail field and know the financial peculiarities of sales-, margin- and working capital structures as well as supply chains in retail.
• You communicate confidently in German and English (at least C1 level).
• You bring flexibility, including a moderate willingness to travel within the region.
