Head of Construction

A well-established residential construction and development business is seeking an experienced Head of Construction to lead the delivery of volume housing and multi-unit residential projects. This role will suit a senior construction professional currently operating at Director / Construction Manager level. The position is responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent residential projects, driving performance across program, cost, quality, and safety, and providing hands-on leadership across site teams and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing multiple residential projects. * Driving performance across program, cost, quality, and safety. * Providing hands-on leadership across site teams and subcontractors. * Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Managing and mentoring site teams. * Liaising with clients and stakeholders. * Identifying and mitigating project risks. * Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. * Overseeing the procurement process. Experience: * Extensive experience in residential construction. * Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. * Strong leadership and management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. * In-depth knowledge of construction processes and regulations. Qualifications: * Relevant degree in construction management or a related field. * Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, RICS) are desirable.
