Aufgaben

• Strategic Design Role: You will work directly with the VP Operations & Technology and set up a whole tech organization from scratch.
• Transformation: At Bike Components, you will find an environment that sets high standards and offers a framework for shaping, which you rarely find in classical IT leadership roles. What makes this role unique is the combination of strategic platform responsibility and human-oriented team leadership.
• Leadership Responsibility: You will take over a team of 12 people across five domains and shape as a down-to-earth leader how the IT organization works, thinks, and implements.
• Organization & Leadership: You will take over the disciplinary and professional leadership of the Business Technology Organisation with around 12 people across five domains. In doing so, you will steer domain leads result-oriented, actively accompany individual team members in their development, and create a culture of stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Strategy & Architecture: You are responsible for the technology roadmap and develop it together with the VP Operations & Technology, focusing on integration, automation, and modularization. At the same time, you will steer the migration to the Scayle-Commerce-Platform as a central transformation project over the next 18 to 24 months.
• Business Alignment & Project Management: You translate business requirements into technical priorities and ensure timely and budget-friendly implementation. In doing so, you will sovereignly manage complex stakeholder constellations from developer level to management and drive the change towards hybrid, cross-functional product organization structures forward.
• Data Governance & IT Governance: You are responsible for a reliable, accessible data basis as the foundation for business decisions and integrate AI where it creates real added value. At the same time, you will build robust change, release, and incident management structures.
• Budget & Vendor Management: You bear full responsibility for IT cost centers, project investments, and vendor expenses. External technology partners are managed independently, including contract and license management.

Qualification

• Leadership Experience in IT or Business Technology: You have already held a leadership position in an IT or business technology organization, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.
• Architecture and System Competence: You have a solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture, system integration, and data management and know how ERP, WMS, PIM, BI, middleware, cloud infrastructure, and commerce platforms work together.
• Demonstrated Project Delivery: You have successfully implemented large-scale modernization or transformation projects on time and budget and can specifically demonstrate this.
• Leadership Style: You lead person-centered, recognize what a team needs in different phases, and create stability through holding and reliability, not through status symbols.
• Communication: You communicate sovereignly at all levels and speak constructively about difficult topics, giving clear feedback and bringing directness with the necessary finesse together.
