The German Relief Association (DEHIB) is building a professional, high-performance honorary structure that is nationwide, digital, and strategically controlled. People, culture, and organizational development are not secondary areas, but central steering functions.

To further develop our visual appearance, we are looking for a structured and creative personality as Head of Brand Design. The function is assigned to the Chief Communication Officer and is responsible for building a clear, consistent, and professional brand architecture for the German Relief Association.

Tasks

• Further development and maintenance of the visual appearance of the German Relief Association
• Ensuring uniform design quality across all channels
• Development and maintenance of design templates for presentations, pitches, campaigns, reports, and digital formats
• Quality control of all visual materials before publication
• Closely working with Communication and Campaigns on the visual implementation of strategic content
• Building a simplified, clearly structured design work structure for a small team
• Perspective building and leading a Design Team with 2 to 3 people
• Participation in building a structured Brand Guidelines Document
• Supporting the build-up of a consistent Employer Branding in coordination with the HR department

Qualification

• Experience in the field of Brand Design, Graphic Design, or visual communication
• Creative and strategic understanding of brand leadership
• Safe handling of Canva, other design tools are advantageous
• Able to build a design systematically and not just operationally implement it
• Structured work style and quality awareness
• Initiative and long-term engagement
