About the job Head of Applications Delivery Key purpose: The responsibility of the Head of Applications Delivery is to manage the complete portfolio of IT applications and development projects, including resources such as business analysts, developers, project managers and applications support staff, to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and with the appropriate benefits to the business. The role includes hands-on project management of certain complex projects that are critical to the organization's success. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and developing a portfolio of IT applications that meet those needs. The Head of Applications Delivery will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and standards. In addition, the role includes hands-on project management of certain complex projects that are critical to the organization's success.
