As Head of AI & Data (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the further development of AI, Data, and digital solutions within the Eberhardt Service Group. You will connect corporate strategy, operational processes, and technology, developing concrete solutions that work in everyday life:

• Together with the management, you will develop the AI and Data Strategy of the Eberhardt Service Group and translate it into a clear roadmap and concrete measures.
• Together with the business units, you will analyze existing processes and identify potential for AI, Data, Digitalization, and Automation.
• You will evaluate, prioritize, and manage AI and Data initiatives based on benefit, effort, risk, economic viability, and scalability – from the idea to successful implementation.
• You will be responsible for the development and implementation of AI applications, automations, digital tools, and data-based solutions and, together with the relevant stakeholders, decide what we develop in-house, purchase, or integrate.
• You will build the necessary data structures, governance, and standards for the secure, responsible, and scalable use of AI and data, taking into account data protection, information security, and regulatory requirements.
• You will make the benefits of AI and Data measurable, develop business cases and KPIs, and ensure that successful solutions make a concrete contribution to efficiency, quality, productivity, and corporate development.
• You will lead and develop the AI & Data team, further expand the relevant competencies within the company, and work closely with management, executives, and business units.

• Completed degree, e.g., in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a comparable field – or an equivalent practical qualification. 
• Several years of experience in AI, Data, Digitalization, Automation, or Technology. 
• Experience in the development and implementation of AI/Data strategies and concrete use cases. 
• Experience in leading teams and/or larger projects, as well as in the responsibility for budgets and resources. 
• Proven experience in building, implementing, and scaling digital, AI, or Data solutions. 
• Understanding of Claude, Python, Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and automation. 
• Good knowledge of Data Governance, data platforms, analytics, and data quality.
• Ideally, experience with systems such as SAP BO or ELO. 
• Experience with cloud and AI platforms, ideally in the Microsoft environment 
• Understanding of the entire AI lifecycle – from idea through pilots to productive operation. 
• Experience with business cases, ROI considerations, and the economic evaluation of technology. 
• Basic understanding of modern IT and Microsoft environments. 
• Strong communication skills: You can speak with management about strategy and investments, with operational managers about processes, and with technical specialists about architecture, data, and AI. 
• Experience in change management and in building AI/Data competencies in business units new to these topics. 
• Very good German language skills (C2) and good English language skills (B2)
