Head of Accounting (m/w/d)

Our client is a globally leading, successful, and internationally oriented conglomerate with several domestic and foreign locations. As an experienced leader, you are a competent sparring partner for the management and corporate leadership in all areas of accounting. In this key position, you will take on an extremely broad and responsible task portfolio and actively contribute to the further development, digitalization, and automation of the company's financial processes, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Strategic planning and implementation of accounting policies and procedures; • Development and maintenance of internal controls and risk management systems; • Management of a team of accountants and other finance professionals; • Preparation of financial reports and statements for the company's leadership and external stakeholders; • Collaboration with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and human resources, to ensure effective financial planning and decision-making. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements. You will also contribute to the development of new business opportunities and partnerships, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats to the company's financial stability.
