Head Cook

Job Description As the Head Cook , you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen quality standards are always complied with. You will be supporting recruitment, training, and development of all kitchen crew, supporting the Restaurant Manager with P&L results which includes, COGS, Labor, Operating Expenses and ensuring all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures are adhered to. We appreciate experience comes in many shapes and sizes, what we mean specifically is: Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Head Cook or similar role. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service. This includes ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipe, and that all food is stored, handled, and served in a safe and hygienic manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and waste management. You will also be expected to work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business objectives, including managing labor costs, controlling expenses, and improving customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, has a strong attention to detail, and can work well under pressure.
