As Head Chef, your mission will be to ensure gastronomic excellence at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, ensuring that every dish reflects sophistication, authenticity, and quality that are part of our identity. Your role will be fundamental in promoting memorable experiences for guests and clients, leading the team with inspiration, discipline, and creativity, aligned with LQA and Forbes service standards.

Among your main responsibilities are: planning, organizing, and supervising kitchen activities, bar, bakery, pastry shop, dining room, and butcher; supporting the Executive Chef in all operations; developing menus and technical sheets; monitoring costs and forecasting purchases; supervising receipt of goods and inventory control; as well as ensuring strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.

You will also be responsible for training, orienting, and developing the team, promoting a motivating and collaborative work environment. You will have autonomy to evaluate performances, propose improvements, maintain equipment conservation, and ensure that every detail of production reflects the highest standard of quality.

In the absence of the Executive Chef, you will have autonomy to represent him and conduct kitchen operations, maintaining excellence in service and complete guest satisfaction.
