About Us:
Fresh Minds, part of ProCare, operates the School Based Health Programme across high-deprivation schools in Auckland. With a commitment to improve youth health outcomes, we provide comprehensive health services to over 11,000 high school students, supported by a team of professionals including nurses, counsellors, psychologists, and school staff.
The Opportunity:
You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver on-site health services focusing on mental health, sexual health, and chronic care at various high schools across Auckland.

The Opportunity:
You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver on-site health services focusing on mental health, sexual health, and chronic care at various high schools across Auckland.
Day to day:
- Providing general practice services, including chronic care management
- Conducting HEADSS assessments
- Prescribing contraceptives and inserting subdermal implants (or willingness to train)
- Integrating youth mental health into primary care
- Offering education, advocacy, and clinical advice on sexual health matters
- Building rapport with students and their families, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and genuine care
- Current APC with MCNZ
- Fellowship of RNZCGP or working towards
- Familiarity with MedTech Evolution
- Comfortable working with adolescents and conducting HEADSS assessments
- Competent in contraceptive prescribing and insertion (or willingness to train)
- Commitment to youth mental health and wellbeing
- Cultural competency and ability to engage with diverse communities
