Building Technician (m/w/d) in Mannheim
Your main tasks
Site management & building technology
- You manage our two locations in Mannheim and our production in Ladenburg, ensuring a functional state of buildings, areas, and infrastructure.
- You conduct regular inspections, recognize defects, damages, or action requirements early on, and initiate the necessary measures.
- You keep an eye on building technology and equipment and supports a smooth site operation.
Repairs & service coordination
- You take over minor repairs, maintenance work, and general handyman tasks yourself or coordinate suitable external support.
- You steer handymen, maintenance companies, cleaning services, and other service providers on site and ensure a proper and timely execution.
- You are the central point of contact for operational building issues and aligns with internal interfaces.
Production & operational site support
- You support production in Ladenburg in all site-related topics around functionality, order, and infrastructure.
- You ensure that areas, access routes, equipment, and operational framework conditions function reliably at all sites.
- You take over general practical support as well as minor organizational and logistical tasks in daily site operations.
Order, safety & materials
- You pay attention to order, cleanliness, and traffic safety at all locations you manage.
- You support with waste disposal, material supply, errands, and other operational everyday topics.
- You contribute to ensuring that security, quality, and operating standards are maintained in daily operations.
What you bring
- A completed vocational training or technical education, ideally in the field of building technology, electricity, SHK, facility management, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience as a facilities manager, building technician, or in a similar operational role.
- Self-reliant, pragmatic, and reliable working style.
- Friendly, verbindliches Auftreten, and pleasure in collaboration with different internal and external contact partners.
- Class B driver's license and willingness to regularly commute between our locations in Mannheim and Ladenburg.
- Good German language skills in writing and speaking.
