Your Role

You are very practically minded and love to get hands-on and solve problems. As a janitor/facility manager, you will be on-site with us for 20 hours during the week during the day and will be the first point of contact when it comes to keeping our premises in order. Your role is characterized by a varied and broad range of tasks. You enjoy a great deal of freedom to organize your tasks yourself and complete them independently. Depending on your qualifications and interests, the position can be expanded (in terms of hours and content) to a part-time or full-time position. This means you could also optionally take on logistics and testing tasks.

Your field of activity includes practical tasks in our offices, our workshop/laboratory, and our warehouse. In our office spaces, you will be responsible for usual maintenance and minor renovation work, thereby supporting the entire team. You are helpful and have an eye for where you can lend a hand with your practical experience. In doing so, you contribute to creating a great working environment for everyone and strengthening team spirit.

If interested, the position can be expanded to 40 hours. In the additional 20 hours, you would support us in the lab with simple electronics/electrical tasks, such as soldering.

Your Future Tasks

• Maintenance and upkeep tasks in our office and workshop

• Responsibility for order in our offices, workshop, and warehouse

• Removal of empties, trash, and cardboard

• Light janitorial duties, such as hanging pictures, moving furniture, etc.

What You Bring Along

• Manual dexterity, practical aptitude, and general understanding of janitorial tasks

• Independent and self-responsible way of working and the ability to react spontaneously to situations

• Strong sense of order and cleanliness

• You are resilient for physical work

• Communicative and friendly demeanor, good German or English language skills

• Residence and work permit for Germany

• Completed vocational training in a trade is a plus

• Having a driver's license is also a plus
