House and Event Technician (m/w/div.) at Laeiszhalle
Job description
The team of Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle is looking for a House and Event Technician (m/w/div.) in the Laeiszhalle on a full-time basis. The position is initially limited to two years.
To your tasks belongs, among other things:
- the maintenance, care, and upkeep of existing event and building technology
- taking over housekeeping tasks
- setting up and dismantling stage equipment
- managing the technical processes of events (technical inspector)
- taking over responsibilities and duties as responsible person for event technology according to §§ 38, 40 Hmbg. VStättVO
- operating installed event technology based on qualification and experience
- as part of ongoing building renovation; supporting the implementation of new building and event technology, accompanying commissioning and initial configuration
Qualification
We expect from you as a professional profile:
- a completed vocational training as an events technician or
- a completed vocational training in the field of building technology (e.g. electrician, building technician)
- or comparable skills and qualifications
- broad-based knowledge of lighting, sound, video, and network technology
- good computer skills (e.g. MS Office, CAD programs)
- knowledge in the field of building technology is desirable
- English language skills in writing and speaking
Your personal requirements are:
- flexibility during work in the context of renovation measures
- willingness to work in a mixed house and event technology team
- enthusiasm for technical equipment and concerts of all kinds
- a high level of organizational, communicative, and team-oriented skills as well as stress tolerance and flexibility
- the ability to think across departments and trades
- a meticulous, independent working style
- a self-evident willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and in the evening hours
