Tasks

• Total responsibility for fixed asset accounting: from initial recording to inventory management, internal revaluations, and period-end depreciation calculations
• Sensible distinction between operating costs and capital expenditures with a focus on balance sheet clarity according to IFRS/HGB standards
• Preparation of informative asset reports for reporting and analysis
• Ongoing improvement and documentation of fixed asset policies - with the responsibility to convey these also in the team
• Leadership of inventory checks on site and coordination with IT systems for accurate inventory data
• Active participation in audit processes and external audits - as a reliable point of contact

Qualification

• Fundamental education in business administration with a focus on accounting and financial management or comparable commercial vocational training
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in financial accounting or asset management - ideally in internationally operating companies
• Fundamental knowledge of German and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
• Practical experience with modern accounting and management systems
• Independent working style with high accuracy
