Main Caregiver (m/w/d) for 'Living in Family' - in Carinthia

new way gGmbH cares for children and young people who require support due to disability, behavioral disorders or psychiatric care needs directly within a family (LiF – Family). The child or young person lives and resides analogously to classical foster families with the LiF - Family and is professionally cared for by them. As a result, they experience attention, a more stimulating environment, a continuous relationship with the caregivers and a sense of belonging. This form of care allows children and young people to grow up in a family-like environment, which is characterized by stability, security and love. The main caregiver is responsible for the daily care and support of the child or young person within the LiF - Family. This includes, but is not limited to: organizing leisure activities, supporting with homework, accompanying on outings, providing emotional support, etc. The main caregiver works closely together with the caregivers of the LiF - Family and the professional team to ensure a smooth transition between different living environments. The main caregiver must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ability to communicate effectively with children and young people is essential. Furthermore, the main caregiver should have experience in working with children and young people who require support due to disability or behavioral disorders. The main caregiver will receive comprehensive training and support from new way gGmbH. We are looking for a motivated and experienced main caregiver (m/w/d) to join our team.
