Harness Designer (f/m/d)

This position serves LEONI’s North American Series Development Department with design expertise to create and maintain harness designs.

• Analyze customer designs/requirements and convert in LEONI 2D prints and BOM
• Ensure that all design data is robust and sufficient for processing, and raise relevant technical queries
• Communicate directly with the customer’s technical department to clarify designs are resolve issues
• Uses and performs relevant methods and tools e.g. DFMEA, DFM, Design Reviews
• Collaborate to analyze cost and weight of designs and provide optimization proposals
• Liaison with manufacturing operations to ensure manufacturing feasibility
• Support build phases in harness manufacturing and vehicle assembly plants
• Process engineering changes and deviations from initiation to implementation
• Support all customer meetings and requests
