In your role as Hardware Developer, you will be responsible for the entire development process – from circuit development to EMV tests (electromagnetic compatibility) to product maintenance – and bring your expertise into an innovative, international environment. You work under application of the product realization process (LEAN and PLM process) and take care of the creation and promotion of technical innovations. The main language at the position is German, accordingly you must bring verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (C1)!

Tasks

  • You are responsible for the design, component selection, and dimensioning of complex embedded systems.
  • Your main tasks include creating EMV-compliant circuit diagrams according to general and internal design rules.
  • A further focus of your activity lies in the version-related creation and archiving of the corresponding development documentation.
  • You will also conduct and document the commissioning, function, integration, and EMV tests for layout reviews.
  • You work with software developers together and support hardware type testing until the release of the modules and devices.
  • You are responsible for production management, product maintenance, new developments, and adaptation developments.
  • You will also participate in the screening and prototyping process for new technologies.

Qualification

  • A completed degree in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable technical education.
  • Multiple years of professional experience in the areas of hardware / electronic circuit development and printed circuit board design.
  • Further knowledge in circuit design with CAD software tools (e.g. Mentor DxDesigner, Expedition or ConstraintManager) and suitable simulation tools as well as in the application of hardware-related software (e.g. FPGA).
  • Fundamental knowledge in EMV-compliant design in an industrial environment as well as with design-to-cost approaches.
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (C1) in word and writing.
  • A developed team and communication skills as well as analysis and decision-making skills.
