Job description

Investigate and evaluate hardware solutions based on product requirements and system architecture specificationsDevelop and implement optimal hardware design solutions that meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectivesCreate hardware design documentation, including description of function, details design description, Functional type test description etc.Perform schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and signal integrity simulations to ensure robust high-speed circuit performance during the design phaseCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware integration, verification, and design optimization activitiesExecute hardware validation activities, including functional testing, environmental testing, and regulatory compliance testing such as EMC/EMI evaluationsAnalyze test results, identify root causes of design issues, and drive corrective actions to ensure product quality and compliancePrepare and maintain comprehensive test plans, validation reports, and technical documentation throughout the product development process Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related fieldHardware development experience in embedded systems; relevant experience is preferredStrong experience in high-speed digital hardware design, including signal integrity (SI) analysis, simulation, and validationSolid understanding of power supply design and power integrity (PI) analysis in complex systemFamiliarity with explosion protection standards and requirements for industrial hazardous-area applicationsGood knowledge of Functional Safety standards and development processes, particularly IEC 61508Proficiency in Siemens Xpedition EDA tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, and design verificationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to technical challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teamsDemonstrated team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomesExperience in the development of safety-critical, industrial automation, or automotive electronics productsStrong experience in EMC/EMI design, compliance, debugging, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with embedded processors, SoCs, MCUs and high-speed communication interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR4, USB 3.0, and similar technologiesFamiliarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines and best practicesFluent English language skills, both written and spoken Option for extension Our many years of recruitment experience and our expert knowledge of the engineering job market make us a strong partner for engineers and technicians.
