Hardware Integration & Testing Designer

Within our projects in the Aerospace & Defence sector, SII Italy is looking for a Digital Design Engineer. DETAILS: Work location: Rome (hybrid) Sector: Aerospace & Defence MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: As HW Integration & Testing Designer, you will be responsible for the integration, verification, and validation of hardware at various levels, from component to system level, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and specifications. This includes designing and developing test plans, procedures, and scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in hardware integration and testing; Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies; Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD); Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB; Experience with simulation tools like SPICE or ModelSim; Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, Ethernet); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
