Hardware Engineering Leader - Aerospaziale

Michael Page reports that the Hardware Engineering Leader will have the following responsibilities: - Analysis of functional requirements and translation into technical specifications for electronic design. - Conducting electronic design activities (component selection, block diagram drafting) - Conduction of validation and verification activities (EMC) - Management of quality verification activities (FMEA, Risk Assessment) - Management of workload in the hardware design team (5+ resources) - Transversal support to departments involved in electronic design, prototyping, and production. - Management of external suppliers for materials and/or services related to hardware design. - Support for analysis of potential problems reported during production or operation and support for resolution. The ideal candidate has the following characteristics: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical, or technical diploma with equivalent experience. - Experience of at least 5-8 years in industrial general-purpose electronic design, preferably mixed-signal analog and digital (e.g., control centers, brushless motor control, system power management,...) - Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing. - Familiarity with laboratory electronic equipment. - Desired experience in coordinating design teams. - Propensity for teamwork and communication with clients and suppliers. - Good planning and leadership skills. - Strong analytical ability and coordination with other company functions (in the context of maximum integration between different needs). - Good knowledge of English. - A plus would be familiarity with the aerospace and/or aeronautical sector.
