Hardware Design Engineer

Job Title: Automotive Hardware Designer Experience Required: 3–4 Years Location: Chennai / Pollachi (Coimbatore District) Notice Period: 30–45 Days Job Description We are seeking an experienced and innovative Automotive Hardware Designer to join our engineering team at Organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CPU-based design and high-speed interfaces, along with a solid understanding of automotive-grade hardware development. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop automotive-grade hardware designs for various applications, including but not limited to, infotainment systems, driver assistance systems, and autonomous driving systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware components into the overall system. - Develop and maintain detailed design specifications, schematics, and test plans for automotive-grade hardware designs. - Troubleshoot and debug complex hardware issues using various tools and techniques. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in CPU-based design and high-speed interfaces, and emerging technologies that can be applied to automotive-grade hardware development. - Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, and other quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with Organisation's design standards and best practices. - Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure successful production of designed products. - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components for automotive-grade hardware designs. - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Organisation's policies, procedures, and quality standards. - Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements. - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
