Hard & Software Engineer (m/w/d) DevOps

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work directly at the interface between software, hardware, and operation and bring systems to the next level.
Aufgaben
You will work at the interface of software, hardware, and operation and bring systems directly into operation.
๐ This means specifically:
- Integration of new Hardware suppliers into the existing system landscape
- Adaptation and further development of your own Locker Operating System on a Debian Linux basis
- Implementation and testing of new features directly on the hardware
- Optimization and further development of applications on Embedded Systems
- Setup and integration of Monitoring Solutions to support the Operations Team
- Analyzing error patterns as well as continuous improvement of stability and operation
- Support in setting up and further developing the Data Platform
- Independent work on topics, often with a high proportion of individual work
Qualifikation
- Experience counts less than concrete implemented projects
- A GitHub profile or comparable project examples are a big plus
- Good knowledge in Python or Go and willingness to actively use both
- Java is of advantage for understanding existing systems
- Solid basic understanding of Linux Systems
- Interest in hardware and no hesitation, working directly with devices
- Ideal background from fields like Electronics, Media Technology or hardware-related development
- Very good German and English skills, for optimal communication within the team
- Willingness to come to the office regularly for tests (approximately 2-4 times per month, in intense phases even more frequently)
Nice to have experiences with:
- Automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Single Board Computers like Raspberry Pi
- OpenTelemetry or Clickhouse
