Hands-On IT Security Engineer: Endpoint & SOC

A leading IT services provider is looking for a skilled IT Security professional based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role requires 3 to 6 years of experience in security operations and endpoint security, focusing on detecting and remediating malicious activities across various platforms. Candidates should have a solid educational background in IT or cybersecurity and relevant certifications. The position offers opportunities to engage in incident response and vulnerability remediation while working closely with the SOC team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with endpoint security solutions, such as EDR, EPP, and AV, as well as experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
