Hand Therapist

• NZ reg. Hand Therapist; OT or Physiotherapist
• $95K - $112K + $ incentives
• M-F hrs, Weekends off, Clinic work

As a leading provider of Allied Health services, this company based in Palmerston North, supports clients to optimise their hand function and live their best lives. As a qualified NZ registered Hand therapist you will be assessing and treating a wide range of injuries, strains, and rehabilitation post fractures and sprains, along with teaching and supporting staff. This role steps into the leadership space, ideal for your mid-career focus on growth and development.

What you will be doing:

• Assess and establish cause of hand, forearm, wrist or elbow pain for referred clients
• Create a programme to specifically address / treat the defined injury
• Assess and assist with pain management
• Undertake clinical reports and documentation
• Mentor and support / train Associate Hand Therapists nearing registration

What you need to have:

• Be registered as a qualified active Hand Therapist
• Hold NZ Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapist Registration with APC
• Ability to pick up a full portfolio of clients needing input
• Capable of mentoring and supporting Associate Hand Therapists in the group
