Hairdresser

A & A Barber PTY LTD is looking for a qualified and creative Hairdresser to join our friendly and professional team. We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service, high-quality hair care, and a welcoming atmosphere for all our clients.

As a Hairdresser at A & A Barber PTY LTD, you will be responsible for a wide range of services that enhance our clients’ appearance and confidence. From modern styles to classic cuts, we’re looking for someone who loves their craft and stays up to date with the latest trends and techniques.

• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles and treatments.
• Wash and condition hair, ensuring a relaxing and high-quality experience.
• Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, and razors.
• Colour, bleach, straighten, and permanently wave hair using chemical treatments.
• Create and maintain hairstyles such as dreadlocks, braids, and install hair extensions.
• Trim and shape beards and moustaches to suit client preferences.
• Provide advice on hair care products, styling techniques, and maintenance.
• Clean and sanitise tools and workstations to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Schedule appointments, manage bookings, and process customer payments.
• May also be required to clean, cut, colour, and style wigs and hairpieces.

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in hairdressing or barbering (minimum 1–2 years ideal).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Creativity and passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of current hair trends and techniques is a plus.
