ZZP Psychologist

We are looking for a temporary colleague (zzp) within the elderly care organization in Almere — ideal for someone who wants to apply their expertise to provide the best support to residents.

As a GZ-psycholoog, you look beyond behavior alone. You see the person behind it - with their life story, worries, humor, and habits. You help colleagues understand residents better and guide them in dealing with sometimes complex behavior. So, you contribute to an environment where older people feel seen, heard, and understood.

What will you do?

You work within a multidisciplinary team, together with specialists in geriatric medicine, nurses, therapists, and other care professionals. You are the psychological compass within the organization. You:

• Conduct psychodiagnostic research and develop treatment and guidance plans.
  
• Offer individual treatment and guidance to residents with, for example, mood disorders, dementia, or adjustment problems.
  
• Cochet teams and supports in questions about behavior and experience.
  
• Contributes to expertise development and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  
• Depending on your interests, you can also contribute to organizational-wide themes, such as quality of life, palliative care, or professional development of staff members.
  

Who are you?

You are a concerned and approachable GZ-psycholoog who can listen well and easily make connections. Additionally, you have:

• A completed university degree in Psychology, preferably in the direction of Health Care Psychology, Neuropsychology or Gerontology.
  
• Experience or affinity with elderly care or (elderly) mental health care.
  
• A registration as a psychologist or GZ-psycholoog.
  
• An open and reflective attitude: you work independently, but actively seek cooperation.
  
• Available for 16-24 hours per week.
  
• The fee is negotiable depending on your specialization within psychology.
