Industry & Sector: Healthcare — Clinical Services / Women's Health & Obstetrics. A community-focused clinical practice delivering comprehensive maternal and gynaecological care to patients in a district hospital and multispecialty outpatient setting in Madhya Pradesh.

Position: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (MS / DGO) — On-site, Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, India.

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetrics & gynaecology consultations, including antenatal, postnatal, and general gynaecology care.
• Perform and lead deliveries—conduct normal vaginal deliveries and operative deliveries including Caesarean sections (LSCS) with safe perioperative management.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies—triage, stabilise, and escalate care; coordinate referrals when needed.
• Deliver elective and emergency gynaecological surgeries including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures where applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, ensure compliance with hospital protocols, and participate in morbidity & mortality reviews and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with nursing, anaesthesia, neonatal teams and allied services to optimise patient outcomes; contribute to community outreach and maternal health programmes.

• MBBS with MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) or DGO
• Registration with State Medical Council / NMC
• Demonstrated clinical competency in Caesarean section and operative obstetrics
• Proven ability to manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies
• Experience in antenatal care and inpatient obstetric management
• Proficiency in laparoscopic gynaecologic procedures (where applicable)

• Training or practical experience in obstetric ultrasound and fetal monitoring
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Prior service in district/rural healthcare settings or community maternal-health programmes
