Job Responsibility

Oversees daily store operations, manages staff, ensures customer satisfaction, and drives sales performance

Job Description

• Manages the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met and the store is well-stocked and presented
• Supervises, trains and assists employees, including hiring, scheduling shifts, and conducting performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and customer service
• Maintains proper inventory levels, implements purchasing plans, and manages relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient stock management
• Develops and implements strategies to boost sales, monitor sales data, and adjust tactics to meet sales goals
• Ensures high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing customer enquiries and complaints promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
• Creates attractive visual displays and maintains store layout to encourage product exploration and enhance the shopping experience

Qualifications and Employment Experience:

Advanced Diploma or Diploma, AQF Associate Degree (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or at least 3 years of relevant experience. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification

Salary: $68,000 - $80,000

General Clerk

Job Responsibility

Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support office operations, including data entry, document management, and communication duties

Job Description

• Provides essential administrative support by managing office files, records and documents. Ensures that all paperwork is organized and easily accessible.
• Enters data into company databases, maintains accurate records, and prepares reports, invoices and other office documents as needed
• Handles incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments. Also greets visitors and provides assistance as required
• Assists in scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinates with different departments to support office operations
• Maintains office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure that the office is well-stocked
• In some cases, may perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking

Qualifications and Employment Experience:

AQF Certificate II or Ill (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or at least one year of relevant experience. In some instances, relevant experience may be required in addition to the formal qualification

Hospitality Worker

Job Responsibility

Provides excellent customer service, serves food and beverages, assists with guest queries, and maintains cleanliness of rooms and facilities

Job Description

• Ensures excellent customer service at all times
• Prepares and serves food and beverages
• Handles guest queries and complaints timely and efficiently
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of rooms and facilities
• Manages reservations and bookings
• Provides information and assistance to guests
• Participates in staff meetings and training sessions
• Complies with all health and safety regulations
• Assists in inventory management

Cook

Job Responsibility

Prepares, seasons and cooks food for clients, ensuring quality, safety and presentation of dishes

Job Description

• Prepares ingredients for dishes, which includes washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to recipes
• Must know various cooking techniques such as baking, frying, grilling and steaming to prepare menu items that meet quality standards
• Follows recipes and presentation standards to ensure that meals are delicious and visually appealing. May also contribute ideas for daily specials
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace is crucial. Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean to maintain a safe kitchen environment
• Monitors ingredient stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and help minimise food waste
• Works closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Adapts recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction
• May train and mentor other kitchen staff, sharing techniques and best practices

Qualifications and Employment Experience:

AQF Certificate IV or AQF Certificate Ill including at least two years of on-the-job training (ANZSCO Skill Level 3), or at least 3 years of relevant experience. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Job Responsibility

Manages inventory, receives good, and ensures efficient warehouse operations, often requiring physical stamina and good organisational skills

Job Description

• Accepts incoming goods, check for accuracy and quality, and ensures proper storage in designated area
• Maintains accurate inventory records, monitors stock levels, and assists with stock takes to ensure availability of products
• Picks and packs items for dispatch, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and on time
• Keeps the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety standards and protocols
• Works efficiently within a team to support overall warehouse operations and assists colleagues as needed
