Pay Rate: $15.50/hr - $24.75/hr plus commission depending on background and experience. POSITION OVERVIEW: Guitar Center embodies the world of creative expression, where music and art come together. As a Guitar Technician (Luthier) at Guitar Center, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about music and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Set up and maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the guitar department, • Assist customers with guitar-related questions and purchases, • Provide expert advice on guitar-related products and services, • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service, • Perform other duties as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or music-related environment preferred, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, • Basic knowledge of guitar-related products and services, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
