Guitar Technician

Pay Rate: $15.50/hr - $24.75/hr plus commission depending on background and experience. As a Guitar Technician, you will be the backbone of our store, ensuring that every instrument that leaves our doors is in top working order. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and dynamic role that requires a passion for music, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Troubleshoot and repair instruments, amplifiers, and effects pedals to the highest standards. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Guitar Center's high standards of quality and appearance. • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and offering solutions to customers' needs. • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and drive store performance. • Stay up-to-date with the latest products, trends, and technologies in the music industry. • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (music, electronics, or repair) preferred. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
