Guitar Technician - Base Pay Commissions

Pay Rate: $15.50/hr - $24.75/hr plus commission depending on background and experience. As a Guitar Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling satisfied and inspired. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and be able to answer customer questions about guitars, amplifiers, effects pedals, and other musical instruments. • Assist customers in finding the right products for their needs and provide recommendations based on their preferences. • Demonstrate and showcase products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits. • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the showroom, stockroom, and backroom. • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an inviting and engaging shopping experience. • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service. • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions. • Participate in training and development programs to improve product knowledge and sales skills. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Certification or training in guitar maintenance or repair is a plus. • Passion for music and musical instruments.
