Guitar Repair Tech - Guitar Center

As our Repair Tech (Guitar), you will provide perform maintenance, service, and repairs on guitars, basses, and other fretted instruments. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing technical repairs, as well as providing support to sales associates and customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Perform repairs on guitars, basses and other fretted instruments. * Perform routine maintenance on instruments. * Provide repair estimates for customers. * Order repair parts as needed. * Provide technical support to sales associates and customers. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Maintain repair records and inventory. * Uphold Guitar Center’s standards of customer service. * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or equivalent. * 2+ years of experience in guitar repair. * Strong knowledge of guitar construction and repair techniques. * Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of guitar issues. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
