Guest Service Agent

Job Description The Guest Service Agents are the first and last impression at the hotel. The position is responsible for ensuring exceptional service is provided to guests at all times, making guests feel both welcome and comfortable. Secondary to this, the role is responsible for ensuring the front office premises are safe, clean and comfortable for guests. Key Responsibilities Include: Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times Assist guests with check-in, check-out, room keys, and any other requests or issues that may arise Ensure that all guest rooms are clean, tidy and well-maintained before each guest's arrival Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the front office area, including the reception desk, corridors and public areas Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions as required Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently Manage and maintain accurate records of guest stays, including check-in/check-out times, room numbers and special requests Ensure compliance with all relevant hotel policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, security and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills and is able to provide exceptional guest service at all times.
