Job description

Bodenglück is a rapidly growing E-Commerce start-up that helps people find exactly the right floor to match their life. Simple, digital, and with genuine consulting instead of overwhelming.

Aufgaben

Your Mission in this Role

In this role, you will ensure that our growth targets become concrete marketing successes with a clear focus on data-driven growth along the entire funnel. You maximize the performance of our channels, strengthen customer loyalty and lifetime value, and ensure that every investment in content and performance measures is measurable and contributes to Bodenglück's profitability.

This is what you'll do for us

  • You are responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing growth measures across our most important marketing channels. This includes primarily performance ads and email marketing, supplemented by selected new formats and cooperations.
  • You steer our agency partners in their daily business, prioritize growth levers, and ensure that agreed-upon KPIs and quarterly targets are reliably achieved.
  • You develop and optimize email and template flows, sales and discount actions, as well as lifecycle campaigns with the goal of continuously increasing conversion rates, sample-to-order ratios, and CRM revenue share.
  • You prepare weekly performance reports with clear insights and concrete recommendations for the team and management.
  • You monitor market trends, test new channels and tactics (e.g., new paid formats, affiliates, cooperations) and validate them based on clearly defined success metrics such as MER, CAC, and ROAS.
  • You work closely with colleagues from Shop, CRO, Procurement, Logistics, and Content together and ensure that all measures align meaningfully along the customer journey.

Qualification

What sets you apart

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally in E-commerce, and bring a deep understanding of marketing unit economics; you can accurately categorize, calculate, and explain metrics such as CAC, LTV, contribution margin, MER, and conversion rates.
  • You go beyond mere reporting: You recognize the causes of efficiency losses in the funnel, derive hypotheses from them, and test them systematically and statistically sound.
  • You possess strong self-initiative and understand KPIs as your personal responsibility. You act not only as a coordinator but also as a driver of growth and actively solve problems without constant guidance.
  • You think entrepreneurially and profitably, can estimate when actions like discounts mean short-term revenue vs. long-term margin, and clearly justify these decisions.
  • You have a strong customer focus and understand the customer journey and the behavior of our target groups, so you can plan and optimize measures along all touchpoints.
  • You are comfortable working with common tools such as GA4, Meta/Google Ads, and an email/CRM tool (e.g., Klaviyo, Odoo) and feel at ease setting up or interpreting dashboards or reports in tools like Looker Studio.
  • You can convince agencies and internal stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Logistics, Management) with your data-based recommendations and communicate clearly, structured, and efficiently across functions.
