Growth Manager (m/f/d) - Renewable Energy Startup

Around 74% of all CO₂ emissions in Germany are related to energy production, which amounts to over 543 million tons per year.

Tasks

Your Role

You will build our marketing from scratch together with the founders. Much does not yet exist, some things are already running: You will take new channels and processes from 0 to 1 and scale existing ones from 1 to 10. Content, newsletters, and performance marketing will be your responsibility, from strategy to implementation. You will decide what gets prioritized, be responsible for the results, and even appear in front of the camera yourself. We are not looking for someone who just processes briefs, but for someone who 100% independently owns the topic of Growth at Sunpeak Capital.

• Marketing and Growth Strategy: Together with the founders, you will develop the growth strategy, define target groups, channels, budgets, and KPIs, and be responsible for end-to-end implementation.
• Content Marketing from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 10: You will conceptualize and produce YouTube videos, podcasts, LinkedIn and Instagram formats, appear in front of the camera yourself, and film with our founders. This includes editing, post-production, thumbnails, and adapting long-form content into Reels and Shorts.
• Newsletter Marketing: Our email marketing is already running. You will further develop it: continuously optimizing segmentation, automations, content, and lead nurturing along the entire investor journey for open rates, engagement, and conversion.
• Performance Marketing: You will take over our paid campaigns (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube) and engage heavily in testing: new campaigns, creatives, target groups, and landing pages. You will build remarketing from scratch. Everything is tracking, numbers, and KPI-driven; you will regularly evaluate performance and consistently optimize for lead quality and acquisition costs.
• Brand: You will further develop how Sunpeak sounds and looks, and consistently implement the brand across all touchpoints, from social media to investor materials to internal presentations.
• Funnel and You will connect marketing and sales, work closely with our CRM (HubSpot), and make visible which measures actually bring in investors.
• AI-First: You will build our marketing AI-first and leverage AI tools to increase efficiency in all areas: content creation, editing, creatives, campaign analysis, and process automation. What doesn't need to be manual, won't be with you. We will provide the budget for the right tools; you decide which ones they are.
• Perspective: With growing success, you will build your own team and manage interns, working students, and freelancers.

Qualifications

• You have 2 to 3 years of work experience in a growth or marketing role at a startup or scale-up and a proven track record: channels, campaigns, or processes that you have measurably built or scaled.
• You are hands-on in at least two of the three areas: content, newsletter, and performance marketing, and are eager to master the third.
• You quickly dive deep into renewable energies, photovoltaics, battery storage, and the tax logic of our investments. Only those who understand the product can market it in a way that convinces investors.
• You work data-driven: tracking, attribution, A/B tests, and reporting are tools for you, not buzzwords. You have a good eye for aesthetics and storytelling and experience in video editing, ideally also with camera, sound, and lighting.
• You enjoy being in front of the camera or are willing to learn. You understand how YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram work, in both short-form and long-form content. You work AI-first: AI tools are an integral part of your workflow for content production, analysis, and automation, and you actively seek further levers to become faster and better.
• You work with high autonomy, make decisions yourself, and take responsibility for results, even when it gets uncomfortable. Very good German language skills and a keen sense for language and tonality.
• You are available for a full-time position and willing to work 5 days a week in our Berlin office. Bonus: You already have prior knowledge in renewable energies or energy markets, or have experience in marketing for financial or investment products.

About Us

Sunpeak Capital emerged from the shared vision of Konstantin and Jan. Before founding the company, they were the first two employees of the fintech scale-up Cloover, which finances PV systems. For Cloover, they built up the German market and scaled the partner network to over 200 installation companies. During this time, they recognized the potential that arises when capital is specifically directed towards sustainable energy projects.

At the beginning of 2025, they founded Sunpeak Capital – fully bootstrapped and already profitable after two months. Their motivation: to use the mechanisms of the capital market to accelerate the expansion of renewable energies and offer investors real returns with real impact.
