Duties

- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of multiple properties within the group.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules and programs.
- Manage maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring attention.
- Monitor building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage maintenance budgets and control expenditure.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset registers.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during maintenance activities.
- Provide regular reports to senior management.
- Grade 12
- A formal qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facilities operations.
- Experience managing multiple properties or sites.
- Proven experience managing maintenance contractors and suppliers.
- Good understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong budgeting and cost-control experience.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s licence.
