Group Leader

Description Te Tūranga/About the Role The Group Leader is a frontline production leadership role in the secondary butchery department at our Waitōtara site, based 30 minutes north of Whanganui. Critical to the effective operation of the entire department, the Group Leader provides direction to their Team Leaders, as well as oversight of daily operations, health and safety, quality, and compliance. Strong leadership skills are imperative to the success of this role, and we are looking for someone who can lead by example, motivate and inspire their team, and drive results through effective planning, prioritization, and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of butchery operations, including meat cutting, trimming, and wrapping, as well as experience in leading and managing teams to achieve production targets.
