Group Financial Controller (India – Remote, UK Coverage) Marva Group | Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (Remote) | Supporting UK, Ireland, USA, South Africa & India Operations Role Overview The Group Financial Controller will be based in Ahmedabad, India, working remotely as a senior member of the global finance leadership team. The role oversees financial management, reporting, and control across a multi-country healthcare group, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across entities. This includes: • Financial planning and budgeting for the group; • Consolidation of financial statements from various countries; • Analysis and interpretation of financial data to inform business decisions; • Development and implementation of financial policies and procedures; • Management of a team of finance professionals; • Collaboration with other departments, such as operations, sales, and marketing. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and leadership abilities; • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis tools such as Hyperion or equivalent. The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for: • Preparing and presenting financial reports to the group's executive team and board of directors; • Identifying and mitigating financial risks; • Developing and implementing strategies to improve financial performance; • Collaborating with other departments to drive business growth and profitability.
