Workplace OR Tambo Precinct Building Cnr Cross & Rose Street, Germiston Job Purpose To drive the overall optimisation of the financial value chain, through effective strategic planning, directing and alignment of functional management frameworks and operational delivery. Key performance areas Translate organisational strategy into operational and service delivery objectives, while ensuring delivery of functional strategic plans Develop and implement a robust financial strategy of the Municipality, ensuring alignment with the overall organisational goals and objectives. This will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive financial framework that drives business growth, optimises financial resources and ensures effective risk management. The role will also be responsible for providing strategic financial advice to the Executive Management Team and other stakeholders, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organisational goals and objectives Providing strategic financial advice to the Executive Management Team and other stakeholders Ensuring effective risk management and mitigation strategies are in place Managing and controlling financial resources to ensure optimal use of funds Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and rating agencies.
