Group Accountant — High-Volume Financial Reporting

A leading financial services firm in South Africa is seeking a specialist to handle group and monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate should hold a BCom degree, have completed SAICA Articles, and possess 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience. This role involves high-volume transactional accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting audits. Candidates with retail or hospitality experience will be at an advantage. Key responsibilities include: • High-volume financial reporting; • Transactional accounting; • Balance sheet reconciliations; • Supporting audits; • Preparation of management accounts; • Analysis and interpretation of financial data; • Identification and resolution of discrepancies; • Liaison with internal stakeholders, including finance teams and senior management. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
