Field of activity

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the IONOS Group according to IFRS, as well as support in preparing capital market-relevant announcements in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Ensuring ESEF-compliant reporting.
• Link between corporate functions and accounting departments/ responsible persons at subsidiary companies.
• Support/betrayal of subsidiaries in accounting-related questions, especially according to IFRS but also according to German GAAP (German-GAAP).
• Factual assessment of accounting-related questions as well as questions regarding capital market and statutory requirements around the consolidated financial statements of the IONOS Group.
• Development and continuous improvement of the internal control system (ICS) relevant to accounting in cooperation with other departments.
• Participation in accounting-related projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics with a focus on accounting, financial reporting or related fields.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in (group) accounting at an international company or at an auditing firm.
• Fundamental knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS), consolidation and reporting obligations of a capital market-oriented company.
• A structured and meticulous working style, as well as analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
• Good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
• Motivated to continuously learn and bring own experiences into existing processes.
• Ideal knowledge of SAP and IDL-Konsis or another consolidation software.
